Hi! I’m Ash — the person behind Sayitwithbeads. I design and make every bracelet by hand from my home in Cork, Ireland. What started as a hobby quickly became something I truly love — and two years later, after growing my shop on Etsy, I’m excited to welcome you to my new space here on Shopify.

Sayitwithbeads is all about creating meaningful, wearable pieces that reflect who you are. A big part of my inspiration comes from my love of sport — especially women’s football. I’ve always felt passionate about how sport builds confidence, identity, and community, and I’ve started weaving those themes into my designs. Over time, my shop has grown to include keyrings, custom designs, and a wide variety of styles for all kinds of people and occasions. One of my favorite things is working on custom orders; whether it’s a name bracelet, a meaningful message, or a keyring to mark a special moment, I love helping people bring their ideas to life.

From the very beginning, I’ve been focused on quality. It’s really important to me that every piece feels well-made and lasting — not something rushed or cheaply thrown together.

Before I even launched, I spent a lot of time testing materials. I tried so many types of beading string, but none felt quite right — too flimsy, too stretchy, not durable enough. Eventually, I found a high-quality one that I trust and feel proud to use.

I also do my best to source materials from Irish suppliers whenever possible — supporting other small businesses, reducing shipping impact, and keeping it close to home.

Each order is handmade, packaged and sent out with care. Whether you’re buying a gift, marking a moment, or just treating yourself, I’m truly grateful you're here.

One of my favorite parts of running Sayitwithbeads is connecting with customers — hearing your stories, seeing your messages, and knowing that something I made brought a little bit of joy to your day.

You can still find me on Etsy (with lots of lovely reviews), but this site gives me space to share more — exclusive designs, behind-the-scenes updates, and blog posts about the creative journey. This blog will be a space for inspiration, small business life, and what goes into each handmade piece.
